PFMS Booking Policy
The Peterborough Folk Music Society’s feature performers are often nationally known musicians. We do however try to have openers for some of our shows. I attend many festivals during the summer and often hire musicians for these slots I have seen at festivals. I enjoy hiring musicians I have seen for myself or who friends have seen and recommend. Openers often need to be approved by the agents of the feature performer.
I also book musicians for house concerts in my home. These musicians are mid-level nationally known acts. Here again, I hire musicians I have just met at festivals or are strongly recommended and who are acts I want to eventually present to the PFMS stage either as openers or a co-bill.
If you believe you fit these categories I am happy to listen to your music. Please mail a CD and promo kit to Deb McWethy, Program Director, P.O. Box 41, Peterborough, NH 03458. Be sure you include your email as that is the best means of communication for me. Also, I am still on dial-up out here in the sticks of southern NH so listening to music online does not work for me, thus the request for CDs.
